The house has a keypad lock. We'll send your door code before you arrive.

Cell service drops off once you turn onto the gravel road, so pull up your directions before you get close. The house has high-speed Wi-Fi, so you don't have to go completely off the grid (unless you want to).

As much as we LOVE pets, we don't allow pets at Fox & Fern.

Yes. The house is on a gravel road that's well-maintained year-round and plowed in winter, so getting here is easy in any season.

Yes! Use the fire pit and the firewood provided. When the DNR has burning restrictions in Carlton County, the fire pit can't be used. We will let you know before you arrive if there is a burning ban!

Very. There's a bunk room, the Eagle's Nest full of toys, and a secret tree fort to find in the woods.

Not yet, though it's on our wish list. For now, the best place to unwind is by the fire.

Cancel 30 or more days before check-in for a full refund. Cancel 7–30 days before for a 50% refund. Cancellations within 7 days of check-in are non-refundable.
